Tips in extracting foreign bodies from the digestive system. Dr. Mohamed Nabil Al-Qadi, Endoscopy Consultant at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, had the honor of giving a lecture entitled Tips in extracting foreign bodies from the digestive system. Within the activities of the Unified Conference of Digestive System, Liver and Infectious Diseases UCHID 2023 and under the supervision of more than eight International and European scientific institutions and societies, with the participation of the departments of gastroenterology, liver, and infectious diseases in most Egyptian universities. During the course, European medical guidelines for the extraction of foreign bodies were presented, and then videos were shown of eight different cases of extraction of foreign bodies from the esophagus, stomach, and colon using an endoscope. These cases included the extraction of #coins for two children, a mobile phone, a toothbrush, sewing needles, a large piece of meat, a large piece of wood, and other extremely difficult cases that were extracted, thanks to God, without any problems or complications using the endoscope.
